Prof. Kevin Curran
Kevin Curran is a Professor of Cyber Security at Ulster University. Professor Curran is also a senior member of the IEEE. Prof Curran sits on the Advisory Group of the UK Cyber Security Council, UK Border Advisory Group and the Northern Ireland Civil Service Cyber Leadership Board. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a Fellow of the British Blockchain Association (FBBA). Prof Curran is perhaps most well-known for his work on cyber security, blockchain and networking evidenced by over 1200 publications. Google Scholar lists his citations as 13308 with h-index of 50 and i10-index of 186. Dr. Ramzi A. Haraty ,
Ramzi A. Haraty is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut, Lebanon. He also serves as a Commissioner for CSAB/ABET, contributing to the advancement of global computing education standards. Dr. Haraty earned both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Minnesota State University – Mankato, and completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at North Dakota State University – Fargo. His academic and professional pursuits are driven by a passion for cutting-edge technologies, with research interests spanning information management systems, machine learning, and multilevel secure systems engineering. A prolific scholar, Dr. Haraty has authored or co-authored more than 130 publications, including books, book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers. He has also mentored over 150 graduate theses, dissertations, and capstone projects, leaving a lasting impact on the next generation of computer scientists. He is an active member of several prominent professional organizations, including the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), ACM SIGAPP, the Arab Computing Society, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the International Society for Computers and Their Applications (ISCA), and the Syndicate of Computer Sciences in Lebanon.
